Unoccupied property notification form

This is the form to use to notify Brockwell Gate Management Company Limited (BGMCL) if your property is going to be unoccupied for a significant amount of time. In order to be covered by the buildings and terrorism insurance policy, property owners must inform BGMCL if a property is going to be unoccupied for a significant period of time. This could include if you are temporarily living elsewhere, between tenancies or in preparation for sale.

I have turned off all mains services (except the electricity supply to maintain any smoke/fire alarm and security systems) and completely drained the water system
I will inspect the building internally and externally and at intervals of no more than seven days, or arrange for this to be done by an appropriate third party
I have secured the building against unlawful entry by closing and locking doors and windows and setting any security and alarm system
I will take reasonable steps to prevent accumulations of mail
